Jair Miertschin is Director of Bands at Junction City Middle School. Jair graduated from Kansas State University with a Bachelor of Music Education in 2018. While at K-State, Jair studied flute under Dr. Karen Large and participated in a variety of ensembles including Wind Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Woodwind Ensemble, Orchestra, Concert Choir, Collegiate Chorale, and the Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band.
He attended Junction City Middle and Junction City High School, graduating in 2013.
Jair has performed at the Meyerson Symphony Center in Dallas, TX, the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts in Kansas City, MO, the World War II Museum in New Orleans, LA, and the National Flute Association Convention in Minneapolis, MN, among others.
